Upcoming Release! Pulsar 14: Stay in Sync, Wherever You Are

We’re excited to announce the upcoming release of Pulsar 14. This latest version addresses customer requests and continues to improve Pulsar’s performance to deliver a secure and efficient experience to users, wherever their work takes them. Whether you’re a new or existing user, you’ll find that this update offers a range of improvements designed to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

Key Updates in Pulsar 14

  1. Sync Enhancements – Several updates improve the sync process. New sync conflict handling and improved server validation issues provide more sync success and fewer interruptions to the workflow. Other user-centric updates include a button to push pending local changes to proactively resolve sync issues and notifications upon reopening the app to let users know that the previous sync failed. Administrators will appreciate updates that clean up some repetitiveness in logs, to make them easier to read during troubleshooting, and updates to improve Pulsar’s efficiency, such as adjusting Windows background task behavior to prevent timeouts.
  2. UI Changes – The Pulsar UI is continually updated based on customer feedback to provide an improved experience for users. In release 14, several enhancements were made to the UI, such as allowing multiple images to be attached to Chatter and supporting the attachment of HEIC images on all platforms.
  3. New PSL Actions – A new AfterSave trigger can be used to run a SyncNow action. You can read more about it in our documentation.
  4. Salesforce Field Service (SFS) Updates – There were several SFS updates to the UI and to service reports. This release adds a beforeview setting for Service Appointments, a product Transfer feature, and an allowance for fractional quantity. In service reports, improvements were made to the display of headers and fonts and the signature capture function with better clearing and re-signing options.
